Pure Thoughts Horsemanship
Mission Statement
Pure Thoughts Horse and Foal rescue is dedicated to saving the lives of innocent horses, yearlings and foals that are destined for slaughter. Over Fifty Thousands of these beautiful Equines went to slaughter last year for human consumption. These animals suffered an excrutiating and inhumane death. Pure Thoughts has saved and placed over 350 horses, yearlings and foals since it's beginning and intends to double those numbers in the coming year. We are dedicated to fighting against the foreign owned Equine Slaughterhouses for Human Consumption in this country. Our goal is to educate the public and make the people of this country aware of what is happening to our horses. Our country was founded by the help of these animals and they have been a part of our living, transportation entertainment and companionship since the begninning. We must treat them with respect and dignity. Pure Thoughths Horse & Foal rescue is dedicated to Equine Based Education. Our goal is also to help children and young adults realize their full potential and learn to respect the quality of life through the combination of human compassion, basic instincts and pure thoughts of equine communication... a feeling of accomplishment through self-realization. We teach the children that a life matters and when they put their mind to it, goals can be reached and dreams realized. Through the rescuing a horse, yearling or foal from an untimely and inhumane death, children have pride in the saving of that young horses life and respect for that animal. Both the horse's and the kids at Pure Thoughts will walk together the path that is ahead of them. One will teach the other about life’s rules, expectations, caring and compassion.

Brad Gaver M.Ed, Co-Founder of Pure Thoughts Inc. Horse & Foal Rescue, has a history of success working with youths. His conceptual dream, “Pure Thoughts Horsemanship” which has turned into a reality, was started so that he may lead and guide our children on a path of success through equine therapy. Mr. Gaver has spent years studying the animal / human connection and has developed a program that unitizes horses as his means for not only reaching these children but also as a catalyst for each youth to grow within their selves, understand their true self and know that their future is for them to discover…. and decide the path they wish to take. The foals deserve a second chance to be loved and so do our children.
Bradley Gaver is also an accomplished horseman, farrier and trainer specializing in the "Art of Equine Communication for the Competitive Edge." Brad trains both human and horse to communicate on the same level so that their experience together is a rewarding one. In his words..."There isn't a horse out of reach.... time, patience and repetition is the key. Before anything a bond and mutual trust must be formed .
